Community Meal For Triplet Park, Saturday, February 6
January 12, 2010 marked the 10 year anniversary of the tragic fire in downtown Unity which resulted in the loss of four community members: three very special young triplet boys and a local firefighter. Since that time, Triplet Park has been created with outdoor learning station, interpretive trail, beautiful flower gardens, and interactive food gardens for kids has sprung up. 75 people attended a UBR Community Meal and we raised $970, enough to cover the park's expenses in the coming year. Most folks came from Waldo County but there were also participants from Somerset, Franklin, Lincoln and Kennebec counties! More photos here
