UBR sponsors the Community Meal program to provide community members with an opportunity to come together the first Saturday of each month to catch up with each other and to meet new community members. Community Meals are delicious and nutritious. We try to plan the meals around what is seasonally available from local farmers, therefore we support local farms by purchasing food from them.

Tickets are $8.00 for an adult, reduced rate of $4.00 for children under 12, seniors over 60, and folks who qualify as low income. The next Meal is the Annual Harvest Supper: (All meals take place at the Unity Community Center unless otherwise noted.)

Traditional Thanksgiving Theme:

Fresh turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, stuffing and rolls.

Annual Community Pie Contest for dessert. Judges and pies needed!

Community Meals always feature ingredients from local farmers.

Volunteers are always needed for these meals. Someone can volunteer to prepare food, set-up for the meal, serve food, or clean-up. All jobs are necessary to pull-off these meals and volunteer help is greatly appreciated. Please contact Tess at 948-9005 if you are able to volunteer at a meal.
