Community Meals Thanks to financial support from Maine Farmland Trust and the hard work of a newly formed community committee, the Community Meals program is better than ever. Community Meals are being used to raise money to support the work of another Unity Barn Raisers' project, Veggies for All. Meals always feature local grown produce and the suggested donation is $5-$15. Committee members are happy to take menu suggestions and/or food donations for the meals. New committee members and volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.

2011 Committee members are: Diana Avella Holli Cedarholm Kate Dustin Mike Gold Mary Leaming Tim Libby Erin McWalters Laura Pyles Sara Trunzo Tess Woods 2011 Community Meal Dates are: Saturday, February 5 from 5 -7 PM Saturday, March 5 from 5 -7 PM Saturday, April 2 from 5-7 PM Saturday, May 7 (Opening day of Unity Market Day) from noon to 1 PM Saturday, June 4 (UBR Annual Meeting) from noon to 1 PM Saturday, August 6 from noon to 1 PM Saturday, October 1 (Day of Service) from 5-7 PM Saturday, November 12 (Annual Harvest Meal from 5-7 PM at the Unity Community Center Volunteers are always needed for these meals. Someone can volunteer to prepare food, set-up for the meal, serve food, or clean-up. All jobs are necessary to pull-off these meals and volunteer help is greatly appreciated.
